OK, I got to admit, I was intrigued and enjoyed the alt-media-subject-du-jour:
I wonder if the brilliant "flat earth" drop/mention (completely irrelevant to the story) caught the attention...or how it came to be so popular so quick otherwise.
But in a world of giant dinosaurs and incredibly huge fossil fuel deposits (and even some "puny" giant trees I saw in Cali), it is not inconceivable to me that there could have been ginormous trees. I don't understand why the "petrification" process comes into question though, I mean fossils are rocky ancestors of organic material, why not over a bazillion years can the nature of the material of dead trees also change into....whatever?
I dunno, seems we need to mount some expeditions to some giant "stumps" (mesas) to discover the "root structure", if there is any truth to that....seems there'd be SOME similarity...and tons of shit underneath...a 60km tree is going to need an even bigger root structure right? Or maybe silicon trees operate differently.

Posted this on EE: earthempaths.net/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=862&p=6082#p6082Here is one of my happy places: Mt Bachelor, a ski mountain on the bottom of the cascade mountain range in Oregon. The one on the right is Broken Top (the two on the left are 2 of the "Three Sisters", North Sister and Middle Sister, two mountains that DON'T look like tree stumps )...the geologists tell us that Bachelor is not a mountain at all, it is a pile of volcanic rock from the ancient eruption of Broken Top. I always found that to be "fantastic", and wondered how many other "mountains" we're piles of lava. I think it is neat to think about some of his ideas...definitely less a "joke" than the "flat earth" he pokes at (or is using in clever marketing hook). His story is the first, it will be refined over time, just like FE. The attention it has caught is almost identical (perhaps a bit refined/evolved?) to FE and Mandela Effect and black goo and archons and super soldiers and every other topic of the month promoted by the alt-media celeb flavor of the week. Maybe there's nuggets of truth or worthwhile ideas or mindsets within...more likely disempowering ones? I find the dissemination of the information (and reaction to it) more interesting than any of the "facts" it provides, the hook being the far out concept...that should be easily hashed out by us "emotional mature" awakened folk with our keen discenment and ability to emotionally detach....but here we are  I've been finding EVERYTHING "new" presented in any media to be a lesson in enabling, in balancing our excusing "authority's" lies with "not throwing the baby out with the bath water". Thanks for your perspective Norman I appreciate and even can share it when I think about it...though I wonder if concluding it is a "joke" is as extreme as taking it at face value. Seems the "truth" is somewhere in between.
