Heh, so I was dinking (donkin'?
) around on TOT today, and popped into my profile...where I noticed a message on my wall from a Binah, who Lord Sid had called out for being potentially trollish**...as (s)he popped up when I started the (moved to private and locked as it was deemed "not healthy" by malc) Bill Ryan thread I started there...asking all kinds of great questions...so in celebration of the "haters" thread that got started in PA, I'll use it as an excuse to post my response here for posterity:
My reply to Binah…please let me know if I missed anything or you need further clarification, thanks---PS ...this was written before seeing post #90
My personal issue is that I feel that whether he put himself there or was placed there, whether he’s conscious of it or not, he finds himself in a position where people that I see as vulnerable are encouraged to open themselves up publicly that in my opinion requires a mindfulness to the responsibility that I see comes with that. I see him and many on his forum speak of the “safety” he and his forum provide, and I have experiences that conflict with the platitudes about security they tell themselves on a regular basis.
Many people have stated they believe he is, I am uncertain if he is employed by any agency. I think it is wise to that ask that of anyone you approach in this realm (including me), and base your interactions with them on what the best conclusions you can make from the information you are able to gather to the best of your discernment ability (I include your own “intuition” here, with the disclaimer to be cautious if you believe you are able to be manipulated—which I personally believe. In other words: if something “resonates” with me, I ALWAYS question it further, assuming some “other” may be able to “give” me that feeling)
I’ve found him to be egotistical, this thread was created because I don’t believe he’s JUST egotistical, though I never completely discount that possibility
I guess that depends on your definition of “unjust”, “petty”, and “offenses”. From my perspective, I have seen him do it on several occasions. And additionally he was publicly dishonest about on more than one occasion.
I wish I could link to the thread I created, entitled something like “Don’t go into the Project”, it is a private thread I started on Avalon some time ago, it was very educational…and at times even more promising than this one, if I remember correctly. Currently my opinion is it seems to be a lure for inquisitive people looking for affirmation of their anomolous experiences. I believe human emotional energy can be used/manipulated/consumed by certain beings, and if “experiencers” have a different or better “flavor”, what better place? That’s just the most insidious of many types of traps I consider it a perfect candidate for, as I have seen it be an effective vector for psychic attack, a possible hangout for “vampiric” predators to prey on emotionally damaged/confused people, and I’d be shocked if it was not a data mine for many individuals/organizations.
I think he posts a lot. And it’s usually to show how spiritual and intelligent he is. He may be both. I agree with most of what he says….almost everything he says publicly.
I don’t even disagree with him on too many things.
I believe so. In my case, I posted on “the blog of the Ruiner” thread, in response to poster Robin’s (post 296 of the thread, it’s on page 15) mentioning forums imaginative worlds, ATS, Eye-Rise, and this place, asking “Am I wrong and confused and dismayed at the at the existence of so many Truth forums…? I guess having many different forums allows an insurance policy in case one forum becomes overrun by Trolls or shut off due to a cyber attack….right?”, to which I answered: I believe you are very confused about "truth" forums (and you forgot earthempaths, Christine's, which Shane also has a presence)...they are not insurance policies, to my perception they are reactions...where people go to post what they can't or won't on one or the other, for a multitude of reasons....of which I find the discussion very interesting, however I found it to be actively intensely discouraged here.
My post was yanked, and I didn’t like the tone of Sierra’s (and administrator there) PM’s. I was already past the 500 pm limit from other mods pming me after I had intentionally kept it full to avoid private conversations with ANYONE. So I posted something (maybe someone can copy…I am not allowed to see) on my profile asking mods not to pm, explaining I don’t want to hear anything anyone would not be comfortable having everyone hear…to which she claimed that “tied their hands”, my demanding special treatment gave her no choice but to ban me.
So that’s my answer to your asking about “behind the scenes”, I guess each individual gets to judge whether that is “due to forum disruption and/or unacceptable member hostility”…perhaps other can share their story…provide the data and evidence the scientific method based investigators crave, all I have is my experience and stories I heard from others I trust, which is theirs to share.
I have had posts removed when trying to find out from him if he was married to Christine or not. I cannot to speak to anyone else getting banned. My feeling is I was on “thin ice” as he told me because I kept pushing him to be more open about relationships he preferred no one speak about…in addition to his marriage I was bugging him to more clearly explain his relationships with Wilcock and Corey.
I would love any insight on this. All I can find is what is easily searchable. I have no claim here, I am very curious about his “participation” in Serpo. It seemed that general conclusions was that it was a deliberate hoax, and what is of interest to me is that if that is the case…why did “whistleblowers” start lining up to be interviewed by him?
I have really come around on Steve’s labeling his piece “hearsay and arguably disinformation”. I have seen people independently connect the same “dots”…but are those dots “evidence”? Is anything posted on the internet? Written in black & white in the newspaper? Seen on TV?
The only evidence I have is my “whistle blower” testimony. If you believe me, I am a person that participated on internet forums for a little bit now, and I have witnessed:
-Bill actively shutting down every discussion of the OT3 of Scientology on his forum. In private he told me it was protect those that would be exposed to it. To me, keeping a “sacred text” occulted is the utmost hypocrisy on a sight that constantly calls for “disclosure” from those who know. I suggest (again) you try it for yourself, I personally couldn’t get better evidence that his “Truth” forum is at least in that the antithesis of what I consider truth, it is the action of a man completely opposite of the character he portrays. This does not necessarily mean he “works for the dark side”, it was evidence to me he was not exactly as he seemed.
I was going to add a couple bullet points, but honestly, they are personal to me, and not “evidence” in the way you seem to ask. I believe unless you get your own personal experiences, you will remain in the endless loop.
Well if you can get past that, the data points he presents is what you will find if you do the traditional searches of the world wide web in the typical investigative method of “vetting” him.
But Steve is, despite him pooping on some of them…so it goes. It is very understandable it would set off red flags, however, ‘don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater’ comes to mind (keeping in mind the “baby” could easily be planted disinfo…maybe even by Steve)
.
Me too.
I have found all that and a lot more, some super positive stuff, in being part of the community. I am who I am through my experience here (and there)
Well that would make a lot of sense, if this is true…which I will give you the benefit of the doubt.
An admirable venture, please note: I do not hate him. I did not create this head to hate on him.
There are lots of people in alignment with you. I have experienced a “dark” side. I am telling you what I saw. I wouldn’t expect ANYONE to believe me.
A lot of people think I am odd. I prefer to converse with people who disagree. Not because I like to win arguments, but I practice defusing them. I find I learn more from those with differing perspectives, than those that agree with everything I do or think highly of me or I resonate with. I don’t take disagreement, or even other people judging me, personally.
I love “offensive” material. It tells me more about the presenter than “objectively” written material can. It also tells me about the audience, at least those that are offended to reveal so.
Agreed. But my red flags just as high (or higher) with those seemingly in agreement with me, these days. I ask those two questions every time I consume information, and urge others to as well. I would be offended if it didn’t cross your mind I might be a troll.
***removed fluoride argument***
.
You are entitled to that opinion, thanks for sharing. I’m sure you’re not alone.
I guess that’s for him to answer….however, from my reading of him I have discerned (and he affirmed this by telling me directly) that he has been a part of this community. I am currently of the opinion that his intent is to make it “better” (in his opinion…a lot of his opinions I personally agree with). That is my speculation/feelings
I agree. That is why I took a post to explain my OP was based on his first draft, which he was kind (intuitive?) enough to subsequently post up without my even asking.
Yes. So does your perfectly laying out of everything I wanted to talk about. And so should everything I say. One thing I do know: I will never KNOW the entirety of another’s intent…and no one can ever know the entirety of mine.
I hope this exercise is satisfactory? Do you need further clarification? Is there a more appropriate place to do so (keeping in mind, I tried in his “home”)?
…..can I ask you one, here? Do you notice it seems an unnaturally intense resistance to it? I do…and think that’s ANOTHER reason why he should be…
I really find that in itself to be an interesting phenomenon.
How’s this discourse? Real enough for you? I can’t help what other people post. I choose to react in getting to what you and I are interested, I appreciate your steering it this way..
Did you read the thread I pointed to IW? On that forum, there’s a thread called “Psyops on Forums” that is very educational as well, if you’re interested in others’ view…caution though, they are laxer on the rules, there may be things you find “offensive”.
I don’t find him to be exactly a “man of integrity”, I hope by now I have been clear? I’m not trying to grind any axes, I found him not to be who portrayed. I hoped others would explain what they see, and that together we could see more clearly.
It went a lot like this thread did, if I remember correctly, except it didn’t take as long to get substantive information (as opposed to emotional reactions and projections)
There seems to be a phenomenon within the group think that makes that BR doesn’t even have to do anything, the forum perpetuates its own lies to itself about what it is. That’s why I like the beginning of this thread, it demonstrates that in a way.
If my wife was a mod on a forum I moderated, I would expect the members of my forum to expect me to.
Bill might. Christine might.
Marriage is many things to each individual, but it is ONE thing as defined in what I consider the collective understanding: A PUBLIC, ON-RECORD (and therefore easily discoverable) CONTRACT…I always thought it disturbing they chose to hide their marriage (which many consider a public proclamation of love, unless it is a contract for another reason, which would lead to other questions) from the forum.
At any rate, it is not the personal details of their relationship that is interesting to me, it is the fact that Christine “left” in the midst of Corey “transitioning” from PA to TOT with two other mods…with not a peep from the faithful (who either didn’t care for Christine, Karelia, or Hazel enough to publicly ask why…or they were scared…either way it smells of cult-ish behavior to me).
They didn’t feel their marriage was anyone’s business either. Perhaps they shouldn’t be posting on public forums…or running ones that encourage others to share their experiences?
Lots of people do, niavely. I see something different, hence this thread.
I often feel very lonely WITHIN the “awake and aware” crowd feeling like I’m the only one thinking it’s important to understand just where in the f*** the koolaid came from, and who’s delivering it, and WHY. It makes me feel like the A&A crowd a brigade of kool-aid drinkers.
Everyone here is…and I think the biggest issue currently is using this an excuse…it is the ultimate enabling, a problem with the koolaid drinkers among us.
I hope I have helped you understand why I think he is not only a perpetuator of loops, he’s a creator of perpetuators of loops, while tending a flock of people that will aggressively defend the loop paradigm.
